European Bison Sanctuary

The Bison Preserve was really neat, except it was
really cold...it had snowed the day before , this kept the temperature down...

As you can see we continued to freeze that day, we had tons of clothes on, we needed some coffee bad by the time we were finished...we are at the Retreat center that Czechoslovakian Presidents had used for many years and it's now a hotel..

The boys were given Stick Horses at Christma and loved them...So for a surprise we brought them, cowboy boots and hats with holsters, they supplied their make-shift guns...you know boys, they will make guns out of anything...and they did...
Circus Alex in Nitra

We went to a Czech Family Circus...we sat on the front row and the horses, tiger and lion as well as the Elephant were not more than 5 ft from us...a little close for comfort for some of us...but the boys loved it and that's what it was all about...

This the day after our first snow...Gabie has his gear on and is ready to go...I say first snow...it's been about every other day that we have snow furries...it's sunny outside and then it's snowing at the same time...

Gabriel in his outfit...the boys are really into dressing up some one made a cape for David and he put that on with everything else. We watch the new Snow Buddies movie that we brought over for Gabriel's Birthday and about have way through the movie he goes and gets a jumprope for linings for his stuffed dogs...now we have dog sleds going on in the living room...

Vienna before the snow storm

David playing in Ikea in Bratislava after the museum tour; the boys felt pretty cooped up so we went to Ikea in Bratislava on the way home for dinner and shopping and David found this toy in the children's section. For those of you who enjoy art, I think that you will be pleasantly pleased to know that this exhibit was nice, but not nearly as good as either the Huntington Library or the Getty...and the Getty is free and not so far away....
