Halloween is a
holiday celebrated on
October 31. Halloween activities include
trick-or-treating,
ghost tours,
bonfires,
costume parties, visiting
haunted attractions, carving
jack-o'-lanterns, reading scary stories, and watching
horror movies. Irish and Scottish immigrants carried versions of the
tradition to
North America in the nineteenth century. Other western countries embraced the holiday in the late twentieth century.
As our children grew up we as a family decided to demphasize the holiday and yet make the day fun for all. Our tradition was to make pizza and enjoy the evening at home with the family.
We continued in that spirit this year with the grand girls craving pumpkins, playing a game with candy corn and of course eating pizza and pumpkin pie.

cool! We will post some of ours today...
I loved all the pictures, especially the ones of John wrestling with Belle & Gemma & the girls with each other:) They reminded me of other fun Family times when the "Boys" were younger.
John, that was a great "Face"! Belle's dress is beautiful!!
Hugs & much love to everyone!
